The Marmot’s Revenge Skimo race will be held at Marmot Basin Ski Resort on March 9 and 10, 2019.

Dates the rate is valid: March 15, 16 & 17, 2018
Standard Rooms: 2 beds
For this first year, we are offering 2 races:
1) Long Course: Elite men and women
2) Short Corse: Recreational, Juniors*, Split Ski and Masters**
*Juniors that want to race the long course, you will need to be at least 16 as of Dec 31, 2018.
**Masters who want to race the long course simply register as Senior racers.

 

Individual Race Timeline for Saturday, March 17, 2018
07:00 – 08:00 Assemble at Lower Chalet, Marmot Basin. Park at one of the upper parking lots, ski down to Lower Chalet with your day bag. Waiver completions, racer/volunteer lift tickets.
07:45 Registration closes for all racers
08:00 – 08:15 Individual race start lists
08:15 Individual race tech briefing, main floor Lower Chalet
08:30 – all racers upload to Mid-Mountain Lodge and store day bags at Mid-Mountain Lodge (this will be the finish area)
08:30 – volunteers upload with start lists and upload chairs to their stations
09:30 Racers to start corral, beacon check
10:00 Individual long course race start
10:10 Recreational, Juniors and Masters short course race start
14:00 Last racer finish
15:00 Draft results posted/appeals
15:00 Lunch Box provided at Mid-Mountain Lodge and awards ceremony
19:00 Italian Buffet (reduced rate) at the Lobstick hotel with Labatts beer provided!

Each racer must be equipped with the following:
  • Alpine Touring (AT), Telemark, or Splitboard rig
  • Skins
  • Transceiver
  • Shovel
  • Probe
  • Day pack, food, hydration
  • Helmet
  • Inner & outer wear layers
